BORMED RG835MO

Bormed™ RG835MO is a polypropylene random copolymer intended for evaluation for use in Healthcare applications. This high melt flow transparent grade is modified with slip agent for products requiring a low surface friction. It is characterised by easy processability, high transparency, high gloss, controlled low friction and good stiffnessimpact balance at ambient temperature. In addition this grade can be sterilised with ethylene oxide and steam. Borealis prohibits the use of any grade product in an implantable device that is introduced into the human body by surgical intervention and that is intended to remain in place following the surgical procedure, e-g- stents, pacemakers. A filled-in Risk Assessment Form and its corresponding approval by Borealis is needed for material sampling and for every Healthcare application.
