Β-CAROTENE 10% EM YELLOW
ß-Carotene 10% EM Yellow is a red to orange-brown liquid with a specific gravity of approx. 1.1 (20 °C). It consists of ß-Carotene dissolved in Corn Oil which is finely emulsified in Glycerol and Water, with Polyglycerol Esters of Fatty Acids as emulsifiers. dl-α-tocopheryl and Ascorbyl Palmitate are added as antioxidants. ß-Carotene 10% EM Yellow can be used as colouring matter in pharmaceutical preparations.
