ANTRANCINE 124

ANTRANCINE 124 is an effective antioxidant system meant for the protection of pet food and pet food ingredients. It is based on the antioxidants butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and propyl gallate in a feed materials carrier. The carrier Propyl gallate has a metal chelating functionality, contributing to the efficacy of the system. ANTRANCINE 124 can be added into e.g. fat or oil at ambient temperatures while stirring until the product is homogeneously mixed. Recommended use levels in the final product are 500-830 mg/kg (ppm), these investigating/testing to ensure, at any time, legislative levels are within the EU legislation. For maximum homogeneity, stir before use. If solids are form during cold storage, slightly warm and stir to resolve. ANTRANCINE 124 provides antioxidant protection to ingredients and helps extend shelf life.
