DISPERBYK-168

DISPERBYK-168 is a wetting and dispersing additive that is used for solvent-borne and solvent-free radiation-curable systems. DISPERBYK-168 deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them through steric hindrance. This leads to equal electrical charge on pigment particles, preventing co-flocculation. The resulting repulsion and steric stabilization improves properties such as gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power while reducing viscosity. DISPERBYK-168 is recommended where high quality dispersion is required for applications that demand optimized technical performance. It increases productivity by reducing dispersion time and improving rheological properties.
