BYK-3933 P

BYK 3933 P is a multifunctional, polyacrylate-based additive that provides anti-cratering and leveling properties. It contains 63% acrylate content and increases the surface tension of coatings for improved wetting and simplifying recoatability. BYK 3933 P has unique properties unlike standard leveling additives. Not only does it produce good leveling and prevents craters, it also creates high transparency with low haze. The high surface tension prevents fogging effects from steam or humidity, important for products used as base coats or recoated. Its versatility allows adjusting the surface tension by tailoring the dose. It can also be combined with other leveling additives. Recommended for epoxy, polyester/epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and acrylate based formulations, BYK 3933 P improves the appearance and performance of coatings for applications requiring protection from environmental elements.
