BYK-301

BYK 301 is a silicone surface additive that provides medium reduction of surface tension. It is a solution of a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. BYK 301 additive helps improve the leveling, flow and appearance of coatings. BYK 301 allows coatings to spread more evenly while maintaining a smooth surface. The additive is very user-friendly and helps determine if foam is stabilized in certain formulations. It also helps check recoatability and reduces crater development in coatings.
