BYK-302

BYK 302 is a silicone surface additive that provides medium reduction of surface tension and medium increase of slip in solvent-free, solvent-borne, and aqueous systems. BYK 302 improves leveling, gloss and substrate wetting properties. It prevents the formation of Bénard cells and improves anti-blocking properties. BYK 302 is used when solvent-free additives are required or when special solvents for preparation on site are desired. It can be used in all aqueous, solvent-borne, and solvent-free systems at recommended levels of 0.025-0.2% of the total formulation. BYK 302 ensures better flow and appearance of coatings. Its unique properties help achieve uniform thickness and smooth surfaces in coatings.
