PARALOID EXL-2650 J

PARALOID EXL-2650 J is a versatile impact modifier based on butadiene rubber with a core shell structure. It has a well-defined rubber particle size that is not influenced by compounding conditions. PARALOID EXL-2650 J demonstrates effective impact modification in various engineering resins such as PC and PBT. It also performs well in blends such as PC/PBT and in glass-filled systems. The versatility of PARALOID EXL-2650 J allows formulators to tailor blends to help meet specific durable application needs. PARALOID EXL-2650 J significantly improves the low temperature toughness and reduces the ductile brittle transition temperature of materials with relatively low addition levels, extending the operational temperature range. It also enhances the impact resistance after aging. When added to certain blends, PARALOID EXL-2650 J acts as a compatibilizer, avoiding phase separation, cracks and providing an interesting balance of properties ideal for demanding exterior applications.
