BYK-3900 P

BYK 3900 P is a polyacrylate-based powdered standard anti-cratering and leveling additive for powder coatings. BYK 3900 P increases the tolerance of coating systems to impurities which can arise during manufacturing and application, preventing defects like cratering and pinholes. It provides a post-wetting effect for particularly critical systems. BYK 3900 P is suitable for coatings based on epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes and acrylates. It can also be used in UV-curing systems. As an additive at 0.5-1.5%, BYK 3900 P enhances gloss and leveling, improving the aesthetics and protective properties of finished coatings. Optimal addition levels are determined through laboratory testing.
