BUTROL 9119

BUTROL 9119 is a micronized halogen-free flame retardant agent and corrosion inhibitive pigment suitable for Advanced Materials applications. With a very small particle size, BUTROL 9119 is functional in both water and solvent based coating systems. As a greener corrosion inhibitor based on calcium, it provides benefits over alternatives containing barium, chromium, or lead. BUTROL 9119 has shown excellent efficacy in water- and solvent-thinned coatings used in Advanced Materials, protecting surfaces while meeting stringent environmental standards. Its low oil adsorption and small micron size make it appropriate for clear and colored coating formulations where traditional corrosion inhibitors would not be effective.
