BYK-3955 P

BYK 3955 P is a powdered processing additive with pigment-affinic groups that improves pigment loading and leveling. It contains a copolymer with pigment-affinic groups, adsorbed on silicon dioxide. BYK 3955 P enables higher loading of carbon black pigments and other pigments commonly used in the industry. It also improves the dispersion of pigments resulting in better outgassing, electrostatic chargeability and surface properties of finished products. BYK 3955 P can be used at 0.5-2% based on the total formulation. When used along with standard leveling additives, BYK 3955 P enhances gloss, reduces image defects and prevents surface imperfections in finished surfaces.
