AQUACER 1039

AQUACER 1039 is a paraffin wax emulsion additive that provides improved surface characteristics. It contains a non-ionic emulsion of modified paraffin wax with a typical non-volatile matter of 35% and carrier of water. AQUACER 1039 has a melting point of 90°C and viscosity of 35 mPa.s at 23°C. It is pH 9.5 and food contact legal. It must be stored between 5-35°C. AQUACER 1039 has hydrophobic properties and improves anti-blocking. It increases surface slip, scratch and scrub resistance creating a soft-feel effect. It is recommended for use between 1-6% in exceptional cases up to 8%, providing benefits like hydrophobicity, better surface characteristics, anti-blocking, slip and scratch resistance applicable to various surface applications in the industry.
