BYK-W 969

BYK W 969 is a monofunctional wetting and dispersing additive for mineral-filled systems. It improves the wetting and dispersing speed of fillers during dispersion and reduces viscosity to enable an increased filler content to be achieved. BYK W 969 leads to a considerable increase in gelling time. Due to its OH functionality, BYK W 969 is incorporated in the polymer matrix and is therefore suitable for systems in which emissions are critical. BYK W 969 improves sandability and allows for a higher filler content leading to better performance. It can disperse fillers faster and at lower dosage improving cost efficiency.
