BYK-358 N

BYK 358 N is a polyacrylate-based surface additive used in solvent-borne coating systems and ambient curing plastic systems. BYK 358 N improves leveling for semi-polar to polar systems. It increases gloss and gives coatings a long wave effect. BYK 358 N only causes a minor reduction in surface tension and does not negatively influence recoatability or intercoat adhesion. It does not cause turbidity in clear coats or haze in pigmented systems. BYK 358 N facilitates the acceptance of spray mist and dust in ambient-curing plastic systems, providing a minor reduction of surface tension without compromising properties. BYK 358 N is recommended for use in all solvent-borne and solvent-free resin systems such as unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy resins used in industrial applications.
