PEMULEN TR-2 NF
Carbomer Copolymer Type A. Polymers of acrylic acid and a C10-30 akyl acrylate crosslinked with allyl pentaerythritol. Emulsifier. Thickener and rheology modifier. Long Flow. Bioadhesive, mucoadhesive agent. Recommended for Semisolids & gels. Suitable for Topical drug delivery, Ophthalmic drug delivery applications. Polymerisation solvents are Cosolvent mixture of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane (Calss II&III). Recommended concentrations in Topical emulsions: 0.2-0.4 wt%, Other topical: 0.5-3 wt%
