DESMODUR BL 3175 SN

DESMODUR BL 3175 SN is a blocked, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on HDI. It can be used in combination with Desmophen® grades to formulate lightfast, one-component polyurethane coatings. DESMODUR BL 3175 SN improves flexibility and adhesion when used as an additive in conventional coating systems. It allows for significantly reduced stoving temperatures when used with a catalyst like dibutyltin dilaurate, without compromising storage stability. Suitable for high-performance industrial and automotive coatings, as well as primer surfacers and topcoats. DESMODUR BL 3175 SN crosslinks sufficiently from 224°C peak metal temperature when used in coil coating systems, improving durability. It stores stable for 9 months when kept between 0-30°C and protected from moisture and contaminants.
