DESMODUR 44M FLAKES

DESMODUR 44M FLAKES is a monomeric diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate (MDI) supplied as solvent-free, colorless to pale yellow flakes that melt at temperatures above 38.4 °C. DESMODUR 44M FLAKES is suitable for combination with other polyols in the formulation of high-performance adhesives and coating resins. As a monomeric diisocyanate, DESMODUR 44M FLAKES reacts with polyols to form polyurethane polymers with excellent mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance properties ideal for applications requiring durability and longevity. The solid flake form of DESMODUR 44M FLAKES also makes it easy to transport and incorporate into polyurethane formulations. With minimum 98.2% 4,4'-MDI content and low moisture sensitivity, DESMODUR 44M FLAKES is well-suited for producing polyurethane coatings and adhesives known for their outstanding adhesion, flexibility, corrosion and abrasion resistance.
