DERAKANE 411-45 FSR

DERAKANE 411-45 F SR is a high performance epoxy vinyl ester resin based on bisphenol-A epoxy resin. It offers superior mechanical properties and impact resistance over a wide temperature range down to -50°C. Its chemical resistance to acids, alkalis and organic compounds also makes it suitable for demanding industrial processes. DERAKANE 411-45 F SR resin is designed for use in fabricating FRP storage tanks, vessels, ducts and on-site maintenance projects, paticularly in chemical processing and pulp and paper operations. The raw materials used in the manufacture of this resin are listed as acceptable in FDA regulation Title 21 CFR 177.2420 for repeated use in contact with food, subject to user's compliance with the prescribed limitations of that regulation. Food Contact Compliance for Europe (European Union legislation on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, Commission Regulation 10/2011 and its amendments) has been assessed with positive outcome.
