AQUAMAT 208

AQUAMAT 208 is a VOC-free, matting wax dispersion based on oxidized HDPE for aqueous coatings. It improves surface properties in applications such as coatings for advanced materials. AQUAMAT 208 contains a dispersion of an oxidized HD polyethylene wax with a non-volatile matter of 35% and carrier of water. It has a melting point of 135°C and particle size of 25 um for uniform dispersion. AQUAMAT 208 provides benefits such as improved scratch resistance, soft feel effect and matting effect in advanced material coatings. It is recommended for use at 1-4% in coatings and can be incorporated at low shear rate for uniform distribution. AQUAMAT 208 is suitable for applications that require enhanced surface properties and appearance in advanced material coatings.
