RHEOBYK H 6500 VF is a VOC-free associative thickener that generates a highly pseudoplastic flow behavior in aqueous systems. As a polyurethane solution, RHEOBYK H 6500 VF considerably increases viscosity in the low shear range and thereby improves sag resistance and storage stability of formulations. This additive is liquid and easy to handle, requiring no pH adjustment or temperature control during incorporation. It can be added to the millbase or letdown of formulations based on acrylate, styrene acrylate, PVA and VAE binders. When combined with other rheology modifiers, RHEOBYK H 6500 VF enables optimum processability.
