BYK-3764
BYK-3764 is a solvent-free silicone surface additive that can be used in aqueous, solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings. BYK-3764 increases surface slip and greatly reduces surface tension. It displays high effectiveness at low dosage and only stabilizes foam very slightly. BYK-3764 provides excellent substrate wetting and a good anti-cratering effect in Advanced Materials coatings. It ensures a good orientation of fillers. BYK-3764 can be easily overcoated and does not tend to effloresce. BYK-3764 is suitable for use in Advanced Materials coatings where it improves scratch resistance and reduces fat edges. It is compatible with various Advanced Materials coating systems.
