AQUACER 581

AQUACER 581 is a nonionic emulsion of Carnauba wax that improves surface properties when used as an additive or film forming component in water-borne formulations. As an additive, AQUACER 581 can be added at 3-10% of the total formulation to enhance properties like slip, anti-blocking and abrasion resistance when applied to surfaces. It can also be used at 70-90% as the primary film former to provide benefits such as improved scratch resistance, gloss and barrier properties for exterior coatings applications. AQUACER 581 has been shown to enhance durability and protect surfaces from environmental elements when integrated into water-based coating systems.
