It can be used in thick layer applications. BYK 1794 consists of 100% solids and is solvent-free. BYK 1794 offers excellent compatibility without affecting surface properties or transparency. It remains effective during production and further processing. BYK 1794 is compliant with relevant industry standards and delivers benefits such as spontaneous defoaming. It can be incorporated in the base formulation or during let-down stages with sufficient shear. BYK 1794 is recommended for pigmented and non-pigmented formulations at levels between 0.1-1%.
