DESMODUR HL EA

DESMODUR HL EA is an aromatic/aliphatic polyisocyanate based on toluylene diisocyanate/ hexamethylene diisocyanate. It can be used in combination with various Desmophen® grades or other suitable substances containing hydroxyl groups to formulate clear or pigmented, two-component polyurethane coatings characterized by rapid drying and good lightfastness. DESMODUR HL EA provides benefits like fast initial drying and early sandability which is ideal for applications requiring few coats to achieve high-bodied clear or pigmented finishes. It can also be used to formulate high-quality coatings for various substrates. DESMODUR HL EA has good compatibility with common solvents and offers limited compatibility with acrylates containing hydroxyl groups.
