BYKETOL-WA

BYKETOL-WA is a silicone-free surface additive for aqueous formulations to prevent surface defects such as boiling marks, pinholes, bubbles, orange peel and cratering, and to improve leveling. BYKETOL-WA provides defoaming properties and prevents the formation of bubbles. It avoids surface defects like cratering and pinholes. BYKETOL-WA can be used at recommended levels of 0.3-3% based on the total formulation. Optimal levels are determined through laboratory testing. BYKETOL-WA should be incorporated into the millbase or can be post-added in finished formulations if sufficient shear forces are used.
