Riboflavin Universal (by fermentation using a genetically modified micro-organism under containment) is a yellow to orange-yellow free-flowing powder. It is practically odourless with a bitter taste and melts at about 280° C with decomposition. Recommended application(s): For enrichment of foods and beverages, dietetic products and in food applications for infants and young children. For coloration of light-protected products. For food supplements such as uncoated tablets, coated tablets, soft gel capsules, hard gel capsules, effervescent tablets, powders, liquid preparations; suitable for direct compression.
