Remygel 663 is a kosher and halal certified modified food starch from waxy polished broken rice. Remygel 663 is a fine distarch phosphate cross-linked with phosphorous oxychloride and esterified by acetic acid anhydride (E1414). Waxy rice starch is a good binder or thickener. It is glutenfree, non-allergenic, freeze-thaw, pH, temperature and oven stable and very good digestible. This product is also pregelatinised and has a soft gel and a neutral taste and is therefore excellent for cold preparations with a short texture as e.a. dairy desserts, soups and sauces and ready meals.
