PureMalt RD 50 is a hot water extract of roasted barley (Hordeum vulgare) malt, concentrated by vacuum evaporation and spray dried to produce a fine granular powder. Bakery: A great solution for providing intense dark colour where strong roasted flavours are not desirable. A versatile ingredient but particularly useful in dark coloured/dark chocolate bakery products, confectionery and desserts. Meat-free: A great natural solution for providing intense dark colour where strong roasted flavours are not desirable. Suitable for dark coloured prepared meals, dry mixes and seasoning blends. Savoury: Widely used for colouring concentrated flavour enhancers: stocks, seasoning mixes, pastes and marinades. Also useful in rich dark soups and table sauces: BBQ style and ketchups.
