Orafti®Organic IN is a kosher and halal certified food ingredient consisting of inulin derived from chicory roots that have been grown and processed applying organic principles in accordance with applicable legislation. Inulin consists of oligo- and polysaccharides composed of fructose units linked together by ß-(2,1)-linkages. Almost every fructose chain is terminated by a glucose unit. Nutritional benefits: improving the balance of intestinal flora; supporting fiber enrichment; reducing food intake; reduing fat content; and increasing calcium absorption. It is an ideal fat replacer and is easily incorporated in moist or semi-moist food products.
