Amigase® Mega L is a kosher and halal certified enzyme preparation for food use containing glucan 1,4-a-glucosidase (amyloglucosidase) derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger. Recommended in a wide variety of applications e.g.: potable alcohol / spirits saccharification of liquefied starch. It supports effective saccharification of barley, corn, potato, rice, sorghum, wheat, and other starch sources, releasing mainly glucose. Also used in fermentation to achieve very high attenuation levels. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Standardised activity: > 36000 AGI/g.
