SILICONE FLUID EMULSION C 802 is particularly suitable to produce ready-to-use silicone emulsions on dilution with water by means of a simple stirring apparatus. SILICONE FLUID EMULSION C 802 is applied alone, in aqueous dilution or combined with organic softeners for the treatment of fibres and textiles. Before mixing with organic softeners a test is recommended to ensure sufficient compatibility. Furthermore, it is used as sewing thread lubricant for polyester yarns used on high-speed sewing machines in order to reduce the friction of fibers also imparts a pleasant, dry, non-sticky touch to pigment prints especially on fabrics having a flat structure. It improves the rubbing fastness of pigment prints significantly.
