WACKER® FINISH WR 1300 is a reactive aminoethyl-aminopropyl-functional polydimethylsiloxane. It is ideally suited as an active ingredient in softener formulations for finishing fibers and textiles of all kinds and gives woven and knitted fabrics a very soft, flowing and elastic handle. WACKER® FINISH WR 1300 is the ideal softener for woven and knitted cotton fabrics and knitted fabrics made from cotton/PES blended yarns which improves the wash-and-wear properties as well as the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear resistance and reduces abrasion loss. The effects are washable and dry-cleanable. Under the usual application conditions, WACKER® FINISH WR 1300, as a component of a plasticizer formulation, has only a minor influence on the degree of whiteness. In general, no influence on the shade or color fastness can be observed.
