Socal P3 is a fine precipitated calcium carbonate. It is a very fine, white and odourless powder with unique crystal size and shape. Socal P3 provides a combination of brightness and opacity performance to emulsion paints. It serves to reduce sheen and improve wet scrub resistance. TiO2 can be reduced by Socal P3 by keeping the same or providing a better paint performance.
