Aspect 3000 is ultrafine, high aspect ratio wollastonite recommended for thermoplastics and thermosets. Wollastonite offers good reinforcing properties, improved rheology, compressive strength, thermal stability, reduced CLTE, dimensional stability and can act as a FR synergist in polymer composites. This product can be surface treated to further improve mechanical performance and coupling to the polymer matrix. In addition, surface treated grades can improve weld line and tensile strength.
