INCI : Ozokerite Permulgin 3280 is a mineral wax of the ozokerite type with high melting point that combines the advantages of paraffin waxes and microcrystalline wax. It consists of paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons ca. C20-C70. In stick formulations Permulgin 3280 functions as a oil gellant and improves hardness, break resistance and temperature stability. In emulsion formulations it functions as a consistency regulator, improves emulsion stability and when used in combination with Castor Wax (Hydrogenated Castor Oil) suppresses crystallisation of this wax.
