INCI : Ozokerite Permulgin 3279 is a mineral wax of the Ozokerite type that combines the advantages of paraffin waxes and microcrystalline wax. It consists of paraffinic, isoparaffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons with carbon chain lengths between ca. C20 and C70. In combination with mineral and natural oils it produces a strong gel network with high capacity resulting in excellent oil binding capabilities. In stick formulations Permulgin 3279 acts as an oil gellant, it improves hardness, break resistance and in combination with Castor Wax ( Hydrogenated Castor Oil ) suppresses crystallisation of this wax. For O/W or W/O emulsions it helps on modifying the consistency an stabiliity.
