This high melting very hard synthetic ester wax is a version of the monoester fraction of beeswax. Kesterwax K80H contains straight chain esters and is manufactured from natural fatty acids and synthetic fatty alcohols. Could be an odourless alternative of Carnauba wax. It has excellent oil-gelling capability and broad compatibility with most cosmetic oils, giving high gel strength even at low wax concentrations. It functions as a consistency regulator and stabiliser in both W/O and O/W emulsions.
