UNDECYLENIC ACID

Oleris® Undecylenic acid is a 100% linear bifunctional fatty acid with a terminal double bond. It is processed from castor oil and and has 100% vegetable origin. It has a negative carbon footprint and is readily biodegradable (94% in 28 days OECD 301F). Used in peptide lipidation for longer half life, and as an intermediate for antifungal ingredients in pharmaceuticals and comeceuticals (in the form of salts, betaine, quaternary ammonium, undecylenic compounds, etc.).
