PORTARYTE B25

PORTARYTE B25 is a micronized natural baryte filler derived from carefully selected, ultra-white natural baryte. It has a D50 particle size of 5.5 microns and a D97 of 25 microns. Thanks to its excellent chemical inertness and very low levels of impurities — including transition and heavy metals — PORTARYTE B25 is well-suited for applications requiring long-term durability and stability. Its low quartz content and non-abrasive nature also contribute to enhanced safety during processing. The fine particle size and high purity make it an ideal functional filler in applications where surface smoothness and aesthetic appearance are essential. PORTARYTE B25 is also successfully used as a natural alternative to fine synthetic fillers in high-gloss formulations, offering opacity and hiding power without compromising overall performance.
