BYK-320

BYK 320 is a silicone-containing surface additive for solvent-borne coating systems with a slight reduction of surface tension and slight increase of surface slip. BYK 320 provides good leveling with defoaming properties and is also recommended for ambient curing plastic systems used in advanced materials. BYK 320 additive provides a slight reduction of the surface tension of coating systems and is a leveling additive with defoaming properties, particularly for non-polar to medium polar systems used for advanced materials. Its defoaming effect intensifies with increasing polarity, helping prevent problems like ghosting and telegraphing in advanced material coatings. BYK 320 is suitable for use in solvent-borne coatings and can also be used in aqueous systems for ambient curing resin technologies like unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy resins used in developing advanced materials with novel properties.
