AQUACER 539

AQUACER 539 is a non-ionic emulsion of modified paraffin wax that provides improved surface characteristics. It has a hydrophobic effect and improves anti-blocking properties. AQUACER 539 increases surface slip, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and provides a soft feel effect. As an additive, AQUACER 539 can be used at 1-3% based on the total formulation, with some exceptional cases allowing up to 4%. It should be incorporated into the formulation at a low shear rate towards the end of the production process. AQUACER 539 enhances performance in end use applications by modifying the surface properties without impacting the bulk characteristics of the material.
